As a senior Badminton coach, Roshanlal Nahar has helped numerous players towards achieving their full potential. He has worked with many ranked players, sports teams, community teams or school groups, working closely with them to improve their performance. He has encouraged underrepresented groups or young students to participate in Badminton tournaments.
Mr. Nahar brings out ability by identifying needs and planning and implementing suitable training programs. He is involved in involves developing the participants’ physical and psychological fitness and providing the best possible practical conditions in order to maximize their performance.
Mr. Roshanlal Nahar is an advisor for Badminton Association of India. Since his retirement as National coach of India, he has taken various short and long term coaching assignments throughout India. When he visits his daughter in Hong Kong, he spends time training his ex-students and friends.
Mr Nahar is passionate about teaching and improving the quality of badminton at an individual as well as organizational level. His knowledge of human physiology and anatomy, his genuine understanding of how the game develops and him applying modern as well as time tested teaching skills, he has been able to create a perfect environment for learning – beginners to experts , all have benefited from his personalized coaching.
Mr. Nahar has coached and groomed a lot of Indian players such as Mr. Prakash Padukone, Mr. Vimal Kumar, Ms. Ami Ghia and many more. Most recently, in 2018 he accompanied the Indian team comprising of PV Sindhu, K. Srikanth among others to participate in the French Open, Dutch Open and Denmark Open.
Mr. Nahar is available for coaching assignments anywhere in the world. He believes he can contribute wholeheartedly towards the significant growth and development of the player.
